i'm not sure i get the sell of the new sherlock holmes movie.
if i wanted to see downey jr just be charming and likable i could just watch him in anything
english iron man with no suit really is not as appealing as you'd think
rantings of a person who has no reason to be as sure of himself as he is.
I wouldn`t allow myself to watch it as i have a rule against seeing Americans playing English guys and vice versa.I put this rule in place after seeing hugh laurie in House and found his American accent to be quite repellent. Australians are ok to do either accent though.

ReplyDeletei saw the trailer for this. looks really bad. hope guy ritchie makes the real rocknrolla and not another one of these shit films. The only thing more annoying than Downey doing english is Gerard Butler doing American. Just let the guy do his rad scott accent it's like asking Ian MacKaye to sing falsetto.
